Deadheads book - Aging Gratefully

At my first Grateful Dead show in the 80's, I was as drawn to the fans (the Deadheads) as I was to the music. I started taking formal portraits of Deadheads in the parking lots of Midwest concert venues in the 80's and 90's. Around 2015, with the help of social media and word of mouth, we started finding and re-photographing them and with the help of David Gans, collecting their oral histories all to be included in the book, "Aging Gratefully". Anticipated release in fall of 2025. See info on how to get your copy below.

How to get your copy of Aging Gratefully

This beautiful hard cover book will be filled with black and white portraits of Deadheads photographed in the mid to late 1980's, along with the ones we found to re-photograph between 2015 and 2025. Additionally, you will love reading the stories of these beautiful individuals who found family within the Deadhead community; told by them and written by David Gans.


I anticipate a fall 2025 release of the book, which will sell for $50 PLUS shipping               (cost calculated based on shipping location).
